SFM8-1000 Flex & Stay fiber optic visual inspection endoscope

The SFM8-1000 8 mm Flex & Stay fiber optic visual inspection endoscope from Heine allows the technician to shape and maintain the scope for the initial visual inspection. It features angled side-view adapters that do not increase the scope's diameter; 90- and 110-degree threaded attachments are available for additional right angle/backward direction of views. It comes in 3.5- and 12-volt versions which are four times as bright as competitive models. A 3.5-volt version battery handle generates more than 25,000 lux at a distance of 16 mm. It provides bright, white light for quick shadow-free "first look" visual inspection. There is an adjustable focusable eyepiece for the technician who wears glasses to be able to focus the image. With a 50-degree field of view, the SFM8 scope is manufactured to accommodate mirror adapters with full direction of view in mind. It is oil, petro, and water-resistant. The scope is 39 inches long to look into wing cavities, piston cylinders, and fuel systems.
