The ISOVOLT Titan E stationary X-ray machine from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies is based on the field-proven ISOVOLT Titan series and offers significant improvements in ease of operation, controllability and on-board logic to allow greater operational productivity and reliability. It offers the same high out put of 4.5 kw as the existing Titan family, with the same maximum tube current of 45 mA, extremely stable high voltage and very low ripple but this is now supported by a control platform that is more intuitive and easier to use. This is the result of an ergonomic, interactive re-design that features a fully graphic screen that clearly displays all operating and set-up parameters, a dynamic menu guide and a consistent method of operation that permits input through a keyboard, a speed-dependent wheel and function keys. It is complemented by a data-supported programming function for setting-up, archiving, and activating application-specific exposure programs and failsafe operation to meet international standards.
