Eaton Corporation™s aerospace business offers Aeroquip brand Sure-Mate self-sealing, thread-together, quick disconnect couplings. They allow for quick, easy, reliable connection and disconnection of lube oil, coolant, and hydraulic lines for civil and military aircraft as well as ground vehicle applications. The design incorporates timed threads, locking fingers, tubular valve and sleeve technology, a flush face design, bonded elastomeric seals, blunt start Acme threads, and a one-piece male half. Sure-Mate couplings meet or exceed SAE AS1709 specifications, are available in titanium and aluminum, can accommodate operating pressures up to 5000 psi (345 bar), and can operate at temperatures ranging from -65 F to 275 F (-54 C to 135 C).
