The L861T light emitting diode-based elevated fixture to replace incadescent units in airport taxiways and aprons is available from Dialight Corporation. Blue and omnidirectional, the fixture is ETL-certified to FAA AC 150/5345-46B and complies with Transport Canada TP312, ICAO, Annex 14, and MIL-L-7830D. Uses 90 percent less energy than an incandescent unit. Supplied with its own baseplate, it mounts onto a standard L867 basecan with a 10.25 bolt circle, or it can be stake mounted; www.dialight.com.
