Aeroduct Jet Starter Hose with Scuffer Jacket

March 8, 2010

Aeroduct ® Jet Starter Hose features a specially constructed compound silicone rubber tube that can withstand extreme temperatures ranging up to 500º F and down to as low as -80º F. The hose was designed to be light and it can be easily handled by one person. This hose is constructed using
synthetic yarn reinforcement that assures high burst strength (400PSI and higher), dimensional stability and maximum flexibility. Aeroduct Jet Starter Hose is resistant to heat, solvents, mildew
and fuels. By adding replaceable lenoweave or open braided scuffer jackets to this hose, its
service life is extended and the scuffer jackets provide an extra measure of abrasion resistance
and durability by shielding the jet starter hose from the damage that often results from the hose being dragged and scuffed over concrete ramps and runways. The low profile scuffer strip minimizes hang-up on equipment or ramps. Aeroduct Jet Starter and Scuffer Jackets may be ordered in assemblies by part or in any combination of the hose and jacket. Aeroduct Jet Starter Hose and Scuffer Jackets have been manufactured by HBD/Thermoid, Inc. for over 50 years.
During that time, thousands of business, commercial and military-class aviation customers have come to know Aeroduct Jet Starter Hose will provide them with top performance and long-term, reliable service.
