COBUS Low Floor Airside People Movers are used for the transportation of passengers between terminals or concourses on the airside, as well as for servicing passenger aircraft on remote hardstands. All COBUS have a complete low floor interior and multiple, extra wide doors on both sides of the vehicle to allow for the safe and efficient ingress/egress of passengers. The spacious interior of the COBUS 3000 allows for more than 100 luggage carrying passengers to be comfortably transported at one time. The incredible capacity of the COBUS 3000 reduces the overall number of vehicles required thus significantly decreasing long term operating costs. All COBUS utilize a purpose built and extremely fuel efficient powerplant that can reduce fuel consumption by up to 65 percent. There are more than 1,200 COBUS Low Floor Airside People Movers in operation at 250 airports worldwide. In North America, COBUS are in daily operation in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Houston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Boston, and Toronto.
