JBT AeroTech, Jetway Systems, introduces a new line of JETAIRE® 30-Ton Side-Discharge Point-of-Use Preconditioned Air Units that incorporate all of the popular features of the company's JETAIRE 30-Ton Mobile PC Air Units. The new design has three fans located internally and ducted to blow directly across the coils and discharge air out the side of the unit. Operating at lower head pressures and higher energy efficiencies, it requires only 100 Amp service, whereas earlier designs in some cases required special service up to 125 Amps. A shroud links the fans to the condensing coil and requires no special attention to maintain absolute integrity of the unit's enclosure, in order to assure an unbreached internal negative-pressure chamber. Opening panels or doors during operation does not affect the condenser operation in this new design.
