Allegiant Announces 16 New Routes and Service to Alaska

Allegiant announces 16 new nonstop routes, including service to Anchorage, Alaska and plans to open an aircraft base in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Allegiant announces 16 new nonstop routes, including service to Anchorage, Alaska and plans to open an aircraft base in Grand Rapids, Michigan. To celebrate this expansion, the company is offering fares on the new routes for as low as $38 each way.

The airline plans to invest more than $42 million to establish a two-aircraft base at Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) that will begin operation on June 4, 2019. The new base of operation will be Allegiant’s 16th and is expected to create more than 60 high-wage jobs.

“Allegiant continues to offer leisure travelers the best options and experience possible,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “Today is another milestone for us with 16 new route offerings, our 16th year-round base of operations and new service to Anchorage. We’re excited to continue to grow with our customers and their destination preferences.”

New seasonal service to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) includes:

  1. Bellingham, Washington via Bellingham International Airport (BLI) – beginning May 22, 2019 with fares as low as $59 each way.

New seasonal service to Charleston International Airport (CHS) includes:

  1. Cleveland via Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) – beginning June 6, 2019 with fares as low as $38 each way.

New seasonal service to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) includes:

  1. Tulsa, Oklahoma via Tulsa International Airport (TUL) – beginning June 6, 2019 with fares as low as $59 each way.
  2. Omaha, Nebraska via Eppley Airfield (OMA) – beginning June 7, 2019 with fares as low as $59 each way.

New seasonal service to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) includes:

  1. Albany, New York via Albany International Airport (ALB) – beginning June 5, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.
  2. Hagerstown, Maryland via Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) – beginning June 6, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.

New seasonal service to Nashville International Airport (BNA) includes:

  1. Grand Rapids, Michigan via Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) – beginning June 6, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.

New seasonal service to Norfolk International Airport (ORF) includes:

  1. Cincinnati, Ohio via Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) – beginning June 7, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.
  2. Cleveland, Ohio via Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) – beginning June 7, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.

New year-round service to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) includes:

  1. Grand Junction, Colorado via Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) – beginning April 5, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.
  2. Kalispell, Montana via Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) – beginning May 15, 2019 with fares as low as $69 each way.

New seasonal service to McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) includes:

  1. Denver via Denver International Airport (DEN) – beginning May 22, 2019 with fares as low as $69 each way.

New seasonal service to Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) includes:

  1. Allentown, Pennsylvania via Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) – beginning June 8, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.
  2. Grand Rapids, Michigan via Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) – beginning June 7, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.
  3. Niagara Falls, New York via Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG) – beginning June 7, 2019 with fares as low as $49 each way.
  4. Portsmouth, New Hampshire via Portsmouth International Airport at Pease (PSM) – beginning June 8, 2019 with fares as low as $59 each way.
