JetBlue on July 12, announced that its new and expanded Mexico City service, with daily nonstop flights between the Mexican capital and both New York City and Boston, is now out for sale. Service between New York’s John F. “Mexico City, the second largest city in the Americas and the largest city JetBlue flies to, is critically important as we continue to grow our footprint in Latin America and provide travelers with the award-winning JetBlue experience and low fares,” said Giselle Cortes, director international Blue Cities, JetBlue. “And with service to more international destinations than ever before in both our New York and Boston focus cities we’re ensuring JetBlue is a top choice for more travelers in both cities.”

JetBlue’s New York-JFK and Boston service will complement the airline’s exiting flights to Mexico City from its two Florida focus cities. The airline currently operates two daily flights between Mexico City and both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. JetBlue first landed in Mexico City in 2015 and by this October will operate more than forty weekly flights between the U.S. and Mexico’s capital city.
