Recently, Widerøe Ground Handling went live on Kale's GALAXY as part of a phase-wise implementation plan for about 39 of their airport stations across the Nordic region. Widerøe Ground Handling is a leading enterprise providing ground handling services at 42 airports throughout Norway, and handles around 185 departures yearly. The company is serving around 41 domestic and six international destinations with an impressive turnover of more than 2.9 billion KR. In order to manage the growing volume of business, Widerøe has collaborated with Kale Logistics Solutions for adoption of GALAXY - a web based air cargo management system. GALAXY incorporates several next generation features like mobile app, customer portal, hand-held based app and EDI with airlines.
