“I’m honored to serve in this role to help promote the Anchorage community to Alaska’s travelers” said Jim Szczesniak, Airport Manager. “ANC has a vested interest in the success of our tourism partners, we want to be involved in supporting them however we can.”

“We look forward to Mr. Szczesniak’s participation and perspective on the board as we build and diversify Anchorage’s economy, serve as a steward of the community and educate Alaskans about the value of visitation. The airport is an important partner to each of those goals,” said Julie Saupe, President and CEO of Visit Anchorage.

ANC and Visit Anchorage maintain a mutually supportive relationship. The Airport is an active member of Visit Anchorage, seeking to promote tourism as a part of its passenger service marketing strategy.
