Textron Aviation Showcases Robust Product Portfolio at Singapore Airshow

SINGAPORE (Feb. 5, 2018) – Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, demonstrating its commitment to the Asia-Pacific region, is displaying six of its class-leading aircraft at the 2018 Singapore Airshow, Feb. 6-9. Featured in the lineup are the Cessna Citation Longitude, making its APAC debut, the region’s best-selling Beechcraft King Air 350i and Cessna Grand Caravan EX turboprops, as well as the Cessna Citation LatitudeCitation CJ4 and Citation Sovereign+ jets.

Leading the Asia-Pacific Market

Textron Aviation continues to showcase its presence in the APAC market with nearly 1,500 of its aircraft operating in the region. Making its regional debut, the Citation Longitude will empower passengers to make the most of their long-range trips with the quietest cabin in its class that is also punctuated by an array of luxurious amenities. With fully berthable seats and an in-flight accessible walk-in baggage compartment, the Longitude is designed specifically for maximum passenger comfort and offers the lowest cabin altitude in its category at 5,950 ft. The aircraft also adds a full fuel payload of 1,600 lbs, a maximum cruise speed of 476 knots, and a four-passenger high-speed range of 3,500 nm and best-in-class ownership costs. 

Also on display representing the company’s midsize business jets is the best-selling Citation Latitude jet, which has experienced exceptional market acceptance since entering into service just two years ago and continues to prove itself as a highly capable special mission platform.

For the first time at the Singapore Airshow, Textron Aviation will display a Cessna Citation Sovereign+ from the company’s Pre-owned Direct inventory. Customers have access to a single point of contact for all aspects of aircraft purchase and ownership through Pre-Owned Direct and its expert OEM support. As the industry leader in pre-owned aircraft deliveries, Textron Aviation offers everything from financial solutions, aftermarket solutions and aircraft upgrades to aircraft trade-in and Market Assist, a program designed to allow customers to leverage the company’s global sales team to sell their aircraft quickly and hassle-free. The company is bringing a dedicated pre-owned sales focus to support local APAC operations this year.

The company also continues to lead the turboprop segment with more than 1000 turboprops in the APAC region.
