Tronair, Inc., a portfolio company of Golden Gate Capital, is proud to announce that Eagle Tugs has released the new eJP-10 towbarless vehicle as the first joint design effort between the two companies.

This new model improves upon the previous platform with the latest AC motor technology coupled with the company's proprietary Zero Degree turning technology. The eJP-10 will replace the JP100S as the mid-range towbarless offering and begins the transition of JetPorter products into the Eagle brand. As a new entry into the Eagle brand, the standard Eagle 3-year or 3,000-hour warranty will apply to this new product.

The eJP-10 will be assembled at the company's new facility in Swanton, Ohio, by the team at Eagle Tugs. In addition to an upgraded motor and regenerative braking technology, the new model will also come standard with a digital display that provides vehicle and battery performance information in addition to troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Aaron Kaplan, Director of New Business Development, says; “We are very excited to start sharing technology across platforms and this effort is the first in a longer line of electric vehicle development efforts coming in 2018.”
