Jeffrey Curry Appointed Director of Technical Services for Mayo Aviation

Mayo Aviation (www.MayoAviation.com), a personalized. jet management, maintenance and charter services company with locations in Denver (at Centennial Airport) and Aspen (at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport), has announced that Jeffrey Curry has been appointed as Director of Technical Services for the company.  Curry has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, and served eight years in the United States Marine Corps.

Curry’s recent professional career includes positions with leading aviation companies, including his roles as Director of Operations, and Site Manager for NetJets Aviation (where he was responsible for all operations of the four Airbase FAA Part 145 repair stations and reached full production levels, and also designed a aircraft maintenance events tracking process, among other achievements); Managing Director for Business Jet Access (where he evaluated and devised a strategic growth plan for the company’s FAA repair stations), and Business Unit Manager for Pratt & Whitney (where he led the Special Processes business unit to achieve the United Technologies ACS Gold rating).  Earlier in his career, he also held successful management positions with Gulfstream Aerospace, Raytheon Aircraft Services, Inc. and West Virginia Air Center.

Curry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 – 1994 as a structures technician, CH-46E Sea Knight.  He achieved the rank of E-5 in less than 3.5 years, was named Marine of the Month, Marine of the Quarter and was meritoriously promoted to Corporal.

Curry earned a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science Degree for the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
