Punta Gorda Airport Announces New Marketing & Communications Manager

The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA) announces that Kaley R. Miller has joined the Punta Gorda Airport as its marketing & communications manager. Kaley will assist the chief executive officer in a variety of airport marketing initiatives, public outreach and communications functions in support of the airport’s master plan.

Kaley has lived in Punta Gorda for nearly 15 years, where she has managed public relations strategies and activities for The Mosaic Company, one of the world’s leading fertilizer companies, and most recently for the Charlotte County Utilities Department. Kaley is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and has served in leadership roles on various community boards and event-planning committees in Southwest Florida since 2003.

"Kaley’s extensive experience in community relations, issues management and branding will play a vital role over the next several years as she works with the airport team to bring additional air service and economic development to the Punta Gorda Airport," said James Parish, airport president and CEO.

Most recently, Kaley developed partnerships and outreach tools to support the Charlotte County Utilities Department’s master planning and environmental stewardship efforts. At Mosaic, Kaley played a key role in planning the direction, budget and creative strategies for the company’s public education and branding campaigns in the Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida areas.

Kaley earned degrees from the University of Florida (UF) including a Master of Science in Decision and Information Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. After graduating from UF, she worked as a consultant for Accenture, a global professional services company providing a range of strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services and solutions.
