MKE Passengers Soar More Than 7% in November

Jan. 10, 2018

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele on Jan. 10, announced that air passenger traffic at General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) increased 7.4 percent in November, compared to November 2016.

Delta Air Lines and Frontier Airlines added the most passengers, and new service from Allegiant helped propel the November growth.

“More travelers are getting the message that MKE is the most convenient airport in our region. With more airlines, larger aircraft, a better airport experience, and more nonstop destinations, there’s no better time than now to choose MKE,” Abele said. “The more we use our hometown airport, the more new air service we will likely see from airlines in the future. My message is to choose MKE and help support our local economy.”
