Jet Linx Salutes America's Heroes in Partnership with Mission 22 on Veteran's Day

Nov. 10, 2017

This Veteran’s Day (Observed), Jet Linx shows its appreciation for the brave men and women in uniform who dedicated their lives to serve the country, in partnership with veteran support organization Mission 22. On Friday, November 10, Jet Linx will dedicate a flight-leg as “JTL22,” which will be flown by two Military veteran Jet Linx pilots in honor of the 22 veterans who are lost to suicide each day across the nation. With this special flight designation, Jet Linx will help raise awareness among its national network of clients, vendors and partners for Mission 22.

“It takes a community to heal a warrior,” said Magnus Johnson, Founder of Mission 22. “We are thrilled to partner with Jet Linx to spread our message.”

Mission 22, a group “United in the War Against Veteran Suicide,” is dedicated to raising awareness and providing programming to assist veterans in the healing process when they return home. The Mission 22 campaign has brought veteran issues to millions of people so that they too can make a difference. The organization also offers comprehensive programs across the country to treat veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury.

While “JTL22” is in flight at 2:22PM CST, Jet Linx will observe 22 seconds of silence at all of its 14 Base locations nationwide.

“We at Jet Linx have tremendous pride and gratitude for our nation’s heroic veterans and the sacrifices they have made for us,” said Jamie Walker, President & CEO of Jet Linx. “As a dedicated partner to Mission 22, we hope to pay our respect by raising awareness for this very meaningful cause to protect them.”
