Western LLC has signed a deal with global fixed base operator, Signature Flight Support. The development partnership between Western and Signature will bring new corporate hangars to William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston, and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Austin.
Signature has become the world's largest network of FBOs with over 200 locations providing consistent, exceptional service, and support for business and private aviation including refueling, hangarage, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and a variety of other world-class amenities. Western is a comprehensive aviation developer that understands the “big picture” of aviation development in a community and therefore provides superior turn-key service to the Airport and their tenants as well as the City and Economic Development Groups. Western has experience designing and building FBOs including fuel farms, executive terminals, and transient, corporate and maintenance hangars. As part of Western’s unique complete turn-key development package, they create and execute targeted marketing campaigns to draw new tenants to Airports and provide custom financing and flexible leaseback options.
Western’s extensive experience and reputation with successful aviation development is why Signature has entrusted them to develop their lease-hold and attract new business for their bases at AUS and HOU. Western is in the initial phases of these new corporate hangar developments and is accepting reservations on a first-come first-serve basis. The development at AUS is a prime location and with the Airport having limited space available for development, this new facility will fill fast. The hangar development at HOU has an anticipated completion date in the 4th quarter of 2018, and Western will begin pre-leasing this development at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas October 10-12. This development will include hangars with 28’ doors to accommodate a wide array of business jets and attached Class A office space that is designed to meet the needs of aviation businesses such as corporate flight departments or charter operations.
