Allegiant on Oct. 13, launches two new routes to Florida from Milwaukee.

“We’re thrilled to connect Milwaukee-area travelers to the beautiful beaches of Fort Myers / Punta Gorda and Tampa / St. Pete,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. “We’re sure folks will enjoy having a friendly, low-cost, convenient option to enjoy all that these sunny destinations have to offer.”

The two, new year-round flights begin today from General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) include:

  • Fort Myers / Punta Gorda, Florida via Punta Gorda Airport (PGD)
  • Tampa / St. Pete, Florida via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE)

The new nonstop routes will operate twice weekly. Allegiant will launch routes to three additional cities in November: Phoenix and two destinations in Florida: Orlando/Sanford and Fort Lauderdale. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“We are pleased to welcome Allegiant to Milwaukee and all the great things happening at MKE,” Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele said. “Customers win when there are more competitors in the marketplace, and MKE will grow its customer base with the addition of Allegiant’s ultra-low fares to Florida and Arizona.”
