Birmingham, Ala., Oct. 9, 2017 - AirMed International's team of global critical care transport professionals has been given the distinguished 2017 Fixed Wing Award of Excellence by the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS). 
The AAMS designation, sponsored by LifePort, Inc., recognizes an individual or team that has made an outstanding contribution to a fixed wing transport service in enhancing safety, education, leadership, and patient advocacy by developing or promoting the improvement of patient care in the medical transport community.
