DAC INTERNATIONAL INC. (DAC), a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, announced today that it has received a contract and purchase order for the delivery of Northrop Grumman LITEF, LCR100 Attitude Heading Reference System and DAC Manufactured Compass Control Units in support of the USAF, C-21A Avionics Modernization Program from the prime contractor Global Aviation Technologies.
The LCR-100 selected is a Gyro-compassing, north finding unit, employing state of the art Fiber Optic Gyro technology. The LCR-100 blends inertial and satellite data to provide a hybrid navigation output. The product is widely used on both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. DAC International has been representing Northrop Grumman LITEF products for over 20 years.
