Sun Country Begins Austin- Minneapolis nonstop from South Terminal

On Aug. 31, Sun Country launched new, seasonal, nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Inaugural flight ceremonies were held in the South Terminal and included a ribbon cutting, cake, and live music by James Bullard.

Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring 12 first class and 150 main cabin seats. Departures will leave Austin on Sundays at 11 a.m.; arriving at Minneapolis-St. Paul at 1:35 p.m. Service from Minneapolis-St. Paul departs Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. and arrives in Austin at 6:15 p.m. Flight and hotel vacation packages are available to book at www.suncountry.com.
