Sept. 1, 2017

Nashville International Airport (BNA) welcomes Virgin America to Music City. Virgin America is the latest new airline to serve Nashville where it will begin daily nonstop service to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) starting Tuesday, September 5th.

“We are enormously pleased that Virgin America will begin operations at Nashville International Airport,” said Doug Kreulen, acting president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. “Virgin America is yet another new airline to join the BNA roster, giving Middle Tennessee business and leisure travelers even more choices for traveling to and from the Bay Area.”

This new Virgin America service to SFO will be flown on an Airbus 319 with 119 seats, including eight first class seats and twelve main cabin select seats. Virgin America offers dual-class service on all flights it operates. Both cabins feature mood lighting and all seats are equipped with Panasonic Avionics' personal in-flight entertainment system.
