HMSHost Foundation Presents $5,000 Grant to Dress for Success Memphis

In celebration of the dynamic community of Memphis, HMSHost Foundation presented a $5,000 grant to non-profit organization Dress for Success Memphis today. The grant was presented on behalf of HMSHost Foundation by leaders of airport restaurant operator HMSHost Corporation and Memphis International Airport at the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority board meeting to support Dress for Success Memphis’ efforts to empower women in the community to achieve success.

“We are very excited to present this grant to Dress for Success Memphis in support of the organization’s efforts in the community. HMSHost Foundation’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty,” said HMSHost Foundation President Paul Mamalian. “The workforce development carried out every day by Dress for Success Memphis to help disadvantaged women is vital to a functioning workforce and we know that Dress for Success Memphis will translate this grant money into more stories of success in Memphis.”

One of the core undertakings of Dress for Success Memphis is to provide access to professional attire and career development tools to disadvantaged women in the region so that they are equipped to realize economic independence and professional success.

The impact of HMSHost Foundation in communities across the U.S. continues to expand with grants such as this one for Dress for Success Memphis and others. These activities are important to HMSHost Foundation’s mission as they fight to break the cycle of poverty, by enacting real change in local communities. Since its establishment, the foundation has made nearly $300,000 in grants to poverty-fighting organizations.
