SLM Solutions Group AG, a leading supplier of metal-based additive manufacturing technology, has recently won the TOP INNOVATOR Award for 2017 conferred by Swiss investment research company ALPORA GmbH.

SLM Solutions Group AG ("SLM Solutions"), a leading supplier of metal-based additive manufacturing technology, has recently won the TOP INNOVATOR Award for 2017 conferred by Swiss investment research company ALPORA GmbH.

"The ALPORA approach evaluates companies' individual innovative strengths by measuring 30 innovation indicators. This unique analytics approach is based on scientific research and provides a comprehensive view of companies' innovative capabilities. This quantitative appraisal forms the starting point for the innovation ranking of the companies, and the basis for portfolio definitions and investment recommendations with a focus on innovation – and here our decision was in favour of SLM Solutions," comments Ruth Schönleber, Partner at ALPORA GmbH.
