NEW YORK, July 10, 2017 – Leading global on-demand private jet charter marketplace Victor today announces the appointment of Ryann Richardson as the company’s Vice President of Marketing in North America. In this role, Richardson will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategic marketing and tactical programs in North America and will be based out of New York City.

“Victor has long disrupted the private aviation industry with its commitment to leveraging innovative technology and delivering unparalleled ‘high touch’ customer service,” Richardson says “I’m excited to bring my data-centric marketing experience, as well as my background securing high-profile strategic partnership deals, to the team as we continue to grow Victor’s international business.”

Prior to joining Victor, Richardson spent the last two years at Uber, starting as a Marketing Manager before being promoted to Regional Manager of U.S. East Partnerships. During her tenure, Richardson successfully executed a series of strategic alliances with national and global brands that delivered value for Uber’s riders, drivers and partners. Most notably, she spearheaded the experiential activations of Uber’s partnership with the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia to a serve as the 2016 convention’s official transportation partner.

Previously, Richardson served as a Senior Marketing Specialist for T-Mobile between 2013 and 2015, helping launch the company’s pre-paid wireless brand, MetroPCS, in Baltimore and Washington D.C. In that position, she led marketing campaigns that propelled the region’s subscriber base to nearly 200,000 users over the course of 16 months.

“Ryann’s appointment reflects our commitment to recruiting top talent from fast-growing technology companies in a wide variety of sectors beyond aviation” Dan Northover, CMO at Victor, adds. “There is much we can learn from such talent and, in the case of Ryann, we’re looking forward to the vital role she will play in helping further extend Victor’s North American presence. It is great to have her on board.”

Richardson is the latest addition to Victor’s new U.S. headquarters in Manhattan, which will accommodate a rapidly-expanding team of 25 sourcing, flight management and customer service experts – the team, more than doubling in size, will provide Victor with a sturdy platform for further, dynamic expansion across North America. Victor, founded in London, and with additional, 24-7 offices in California and Germany, reached its sales revenue forecast of $39 million for 2016. The company has also enjoyed a strong start to 2017 – including a record month for sales revenue (June) and its biggest ever individual UK and US bookings (May).
