Punta Gorda Airport announces new year-round nonstop service through Allegiant to Rochester, New York, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Flint, Michigan, and Newburgh, New York, and seasonal nonstop service through Allegiant to St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Service for Flint, Michigan begins Oct. 6 and service for Milwaukee, Wisconsin begins Oct. 13. Service for Rochester, New York and Newburgh, New York begins Nov. 17. Service to St. Cloud, Minnesota begins Nov. 17.
“We are delighted Allegiant will now offer new, nonstop flights from Southwest Florida, connecting us with northern destinations,” said Punta Gorda Airport Executive Director James Parish. “These flights open up the possibility for families to enjoy an affordable vacation in Florida, while also allowing Floridians the opportunity to visit the north and maybe even see snow.”
