Fit2Fly Returns to Airmall to Encourage Health and Wellness

May 31, 2017

Airmall is helping travelers stay fit and healthy on the go with the return of Fit2Fly June 5 through June 9. Travelers at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) will have the opportunity to embrace wellness with a weeklong series that includes healthy dining options, free yoga sessions and fit-friendly giveaways.

“For the third year, Fit2Fly shows travelers how fun and easy it is to stay fit and active during air travel,” said Ben Zandi, president and CEO of Airmall, a Fraport company. “Grabbing a healthy snack or a few extra steps are among many simple and satisfying steps to wellness while traveling. We look forward to motivating travelers to maintain their fitness goals on the go.”

On June 8, Fit2Fly teams at each airport will offer travelers tip cards, ranging from poses for mid-flight yoga to a full shopping and dining guide that highlights healthy offerings, along with fun freebies such as jump ropes, water bottles, better-for-you snacks and yoga mats. Instructors will also lead free yoga sessions in the terminals throughout the day.

Travelers are encouraged to use the hashtag #Fit2Fly on social media to share favorite tips for staying healthy while traveling.
