Dennis Santare Named Chief Revenue Officer of Aircraft Propeller Service, LLC (APS)

May 30, 2017
In his new role Santare will continue to lead APS’ global sales, marketing, business development and customer service efforts, and more broadly for Global Aerospace Partners.

Aircraft Propeller Service, LLC, announced that Dennis Santare has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. Santare formerly served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his new role, he will continue to lead APS’ global sales, marketing, business development and customer service efforts, and more broadly, for Global Aerospace Partners. His new responsibilities as Chief Revenue Officer will include acquisitions and divestitures; product line identification, acquisition and integration; customer retention and growth; and sales and earnings planning and execution.

According to Santare, “I look forward to continue driving APS’ growth and development. Over the next several years, in addition to organic growth, we will look to capture new capabilities and companies to add to Global Aerospace Partners. Our long-term strategy is to become a comprehensive MRO for regional aircraft and especially, turboprops. We have a special team of dedicated people who are making my job very easy. When you deliver quality, when you do business with integrity, when you operate as a genuine partner, and when you put the customer first - the services sell themselves.”

Since joining APS, Santare has been instrumental in facilitating the company’s opening of two new regional facilities – one in Atibaia, Brazil and the other in Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia. Under his sales leadership, APS has built stronger OEM partnerships, created new customer relationships in the Americas and Asia, developed a market responsive customer training program – PropU – and helped market new parts-saving and cost-saving technical capabilities and processes proprietary to APS and its partner OEMs.

Santare has over 18 years of aviation experience including ten as an F/A-18 aviator and maintenance officer in the US Marine Corps. He was initially tasked with leading Marines assigned to squadron airframe maintenance and quality assurance. In addition to maintenance assignments, he became an aviation safety officer and incident investigator then shifted focus to become an aircrew training officer. After a career that saw multiple foreign deployments, two combat tours in Iraq, and graduation from the US Navy’s Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), Dennis joined the business world as an aviation consultant with Oliver Wyman’s New York Office. In 2010, he joined AAR Corp., a global aviation services company, where he served for five years in various sales, customer service, and strategic management roles. Most recently, Dennis served as Vice President of Business Development for AAR’s aircraft component repair businesses.

Dennis is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he majored in Control Systems Engineering. After his military career, Dennis earned an MBA with a Finance concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. In 2016, he was named to the Board of the Cradle of Aviation Museum (Garden City, NY), an aviation and spaceflight museum commemorating Long Island’s major contributions to aerospace, science and technology.
