(Albuquerque, NM) CSI Aviation, a New Mexico-based, international air charter and aviation logistics company, announced today that it has received the Pro Patria Award for its exceptional support for employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. The Pro Patria Award is presented by the New Mexico Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the state committee charged with supporting America’s part time citizen-soldiers in the workplace. The Pro Patria Award is the highest-level award that is bestowed by the New Mexico ESGR.

New Mexico ESGR’s Pro Patria Award is presented annually to one small, one large, and one public sector employer in the state. Recipients demonstrate the greatest support to Guard and Reserve employees through their leadership and practices, including adopting personnel policies that make it easier for employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.

CSI has a well-deserved reputation for supporting the military and a strong commitment to its active duty and veteran employees. In fact, CSI won its first Pro Patria Award in 2014 and is also a finalist for the 2017 Freedom Award, the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. Also in 2014, the company was recognized by the Military Times in its annual “Best for Vets: Employers” list along with 58 other companies across the country, including large corporations like Verizon and Capital One.

“Our employees that serve in the National Guard are incredibly valuable and important to the success of CSI. We’re honored that their unique contributions to the company are recognized by the Pro Patria Award,” said Allen Weh, CEO of CSI Aviation and one of the 18 vets on CSI’s 50 member team. “It is also a huge honor to be able to support these employees and their families.”
