Paris, Amstelveen, 15 May 2017 - Congo Airways has decided to entrust AFI KLM E&M with C-Checks for the two A320s that the airline operates on domestic routes. The C-checks are scheduled for this spring and will take place in Morocco, at the Aerotechnic Industries (ATI) facility at Mohamed V International Airport, Casablanca. ATI is a 50/50 joint venture between AFI KLM E&M and Royal Air Maroc which specializes in aircraft maintenance.Close partnership
This latest contract is a continuation of the mutually beneficial relationship between Congo Airways, AFI KLM E&M, and the AIR FRANCE KLM group. Via its Air France Consulting subsidiary, the Group supported the Congolese government when the airline was being set up, while AFI KLM E&M was already partnering Congo Airways for line maintenance at its Kinshasa hub, along with engines, component, and aero structures support for its two A320s.An airline on the up
