Incorporated on 15 August 2014 and operating out of Ndjili International Airport in Kinshasa, flag carrier Congo Airways is the outcome of the government's aim to promote fare structures that will encourage the country's social and economic integration through the large-scale movement of people and goods. With its ambition of becoming a leading player in the Congolese aviation sector, Congo Airways benefitted from the support of French airline group AIR FRANCE KLM.
