May 4, 2017

Delaware North on May 2, announced it has signed a new multiyear contract with Ontario International Airport (ONT) to operate food and beverage outlets at the airport.

As part of the contract, Delaware North will be completing $6 million in refurbishments at the airport and bringing in several nationally recognized food brands, including Wolfgang Puck and Rock & Brews, as well as a mix of local and proprietary dining concepts.

“Delaware North has been serving air travelers in Southern California for more than two decades and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Ontario International Airport,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel business. “Bringing in an array of first-rate restaurant concepts, as well as refreshing some of the current dining locations, will certainly add to travelers’ experience while passing through ONT.”

The expanded dining options at the airport will be found in both Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 — combining new restaurants with existing food and beverage concepts, many of which will be renovated as part of the new contract.

Terminal 2 will be adding Wolfgang Puck’s WPizza concept and Cross Grain Brewhouse, a brewpub and restaurant featuring local craft beers. Also being added to Terminal 2 will be Harvest & Grounds, a Euro-American bakery and café, and two grab-and-go locations from Plane Box Food Co.

New dining concepts coming to Terminal 4 include Rock & Brews (a rock-and-roll-themed bar and restaurant), Einstein Bros. Bagels and a Southern California favorite, Wahoo’s Fish Taco. In addition to the new restaurants, the existing Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Jake’s Bar location will be refurbished as part of the renovations.

Delaware North first began food and beverage operations at the Ontario airport in 1998 and is the first lease signed by the Ontario International Airport Authority, which operates the airport for the city of Ontario and San Bernardino County.
