Timothy Bond Joins HNTB as Senior Aviation Program Manager

Timothy Bond, PE, has joined HNTB Corp. as senior aviation program manager and vice president. Bond is based in Seattle and works with aviation clients nationwide. 

Bond is well-known in the aviation industry, both internationally and in the United States, bringing more than 34 years of experience in planning, design, construction management and program management.  He has experience in a variety of project delivery methods, including design-build.

Prior to joining HNTB, Bond served another consulting company as managing director, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he filled several roles, including project director for the design of the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport Redevelopment project. Bond also was program manager for the Abu Dhabi Airport Expansion project. He is a retired commander, U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, where he received three Meritorious Service Medals and the Navy Commendation Medal.

Bond earned a master’s in civil engineering from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of New Haven. He also holds a project management professional certificate from the Project Management Institute. He is a registered professional engineer in California and Texas.
