Cutter Aviation Appoints Neil Simon to Avionics Manager Position

Cutter Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Simon as avionics manager to the Phoenix Sky Harbor facility. Neil is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in Avionics and Management. Most recently Neil was Avionics Technical Sales & Business Development Manager at Banyan Air Services.

Simon’s work within the Avionics industry consists of a very diverse background. He has managed and conducted avionics installations on Part 23, Part 25, Part 27, Part 29 and experimental aircraft using equipment and systems from many manufactures. Neil has also provided avionics troubleshooting, engineering and STC work, avionics management, led sales and business development programs and worked with Military Programs where he was a Certified Avionics Instructor for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Textron and AFSAT.

Neil attended the University of Texas and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has also completed various Military avionics schools, Rockwell Collins classes, and Garmin training courses. His fierce work ethic is imperative for the meticulous details his career demands. Neil also enjoys using his leadership skills in the community and works with St. Balderick’s children’s cancer program. He has also been active in United Cities: Connect, Collaborate and Celebrate Program in Fort Lauderdale/Miami, FL. Neil looks forward to working with you and our community.
