Frontier Airlines Adds Service to New Cities from Dulles International

March 7, 2017

Starting in July, Frontier Airlines will launch new service between Washington Dulles International Airport and both Colorado Springs and Las Vegas. Frontier’s new service to Colorado Springs will be the only service to that city from the Washington area. The Colorado Springs flight will continue on to San Diego, offering a new one-stop flight option on Frontier from Washington to the West Coast.

On April 21, Frontier will commence previously announced new service between Dulles International and Austin, Texas, four times per week. Daily Denver nonstops will also be added to Frontier’s Dulles service lineup beginning April 20.

Customers can take advantage of Frontier’s bundled choices, The WORKSsm or The PERKSsm, containing all of Frontier’s most popular options for one low price. The WORKS is available at FlyFrontier.com at time of initial booking and includes one carry-on bag, one checked bag, best available seat including Stretch and Exit Row options, full refundability when canceled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure, no change fees and priority boarding. The PERKS is available after booking and has the same options as The WORKS except the ability to change flights and refundability.

“Our network continues to expand in markets where people want to fly,” said Josh Flyr, vice president – network planning. “Customer traveling in these marketing will now have a new low-cost option, and with The WORKS and The PERKS, we offer the best value in U.S. air travel.”

“We welcome the expansion of Frontier service to Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, Austin and San Diego and the return of Denver flights,” said Mike Stewart, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority vice president for airline business development. “These destinations further strengthen Washington Dulles International Airport’s role as the National Capital Region’s gateway to the world.”
