MT Propeller Receives EASA STC for Cessna T 182 Series

Cessna T 182 Series with the 3-blade MT-Propeller MTV-9.
February 2017. MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the the EASA STC 10060691 for the next generation 3-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-9-B/200-52 on the Cessna T182, T182T, TR182 powered by the Lycoming engines TIO-540-AK1A or O-540-L3C5D (turbocharged in accordance with Cessna Drawing No. 2250065).
MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht announced, that the installation features the following advantages:
- Improved climb performance by 7 % (MTOW, ISA conditions)
- Approx.  6 kg (13 lbs) less weight than the original propeller.
- Lower noise and vibration level.
- 2 kts faster depending on power setting and altitude.
- T182T and TR182 models comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010– „Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung“for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European Countries.
