Gulfstream Appoints Bin Zhang General Manager Of Beijing Service Center

He will oversee all aspects of Gulfstream Beijing, a service facility for Gulfstream aircraft. The operation has more than 50 employees.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. appointed Bin Zhang general manager of its service center in Beijing. Zhang reports to Barry Russell, vice president, Service Operations, Gulfstream Product Support. He will oversee all aspects of Gulfstream Beijing, a service facility for Gulfstream aircraft. The operation has more than 50 employees.

Zhang joined Gulfstream from Morgan Advanced Materials in China as director of Business Development and general manager of Converted Products. Before that, he was general manager of the Goodrich Aerostructures (now United Technologies) facility for nacelles and thrust reversers in Tianjin, China. Zhang previously served as a marketing manager for DuPont Fluorochemicals in Wilmington, Delaware, a sales manager at China North Chemical Industries Group in Beijing, and an assistant project manager for China Wanbao Engineering Corp. in Tehran, Iran.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in international business from Beijing International Studies University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
