Southwest Airlines Announces New Flights from Midway to San Juan, Puerto Rico and Cincinnati

Southwest Airlines recently announced its summer 2017 schedule and there is great news for Midway International Airport. The airline will launch new weekly service from Chicago Midway to San Juan, Puerto Rico beginning June 4. Also on June 4, Southwest will launch new nonstop service between Midway and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport with five daily flights while resuming daily flights between Midway and Boise, Idaho and Spokane, Washington, and weekly flights to Panama City, Florida.

"We are excited to add San Juan as a new destination for Midway," said Ginger S. Evans, Commissioner. "All these new flights are great news for the travelers who enjoy the ease and convenience of flying through Midway. I want to thank Southwest Airlines' for their continued commitment to Chicago."

Nonstop flights between Chicago to San Juan will operate on Sundays. Weekly flights to and from Panama City will be on Saturday. Visit southwest.com for more information and to purchase tickets.
