Over the last ten years, MC2 and TrueNorth have developed a strong and open business relationship.

Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA – During the recent NBAA in Orlando Florida (November 1 – 3 2016) MC2 founder and VP Bill Arsenault was honoured by long time supplier TrueNorth Avionics through receiving a “Lifetime Achievement” award from the leading edge firm.

In speaking about this, Mark van Berkel - CEO of TrueNorth stated - “We are extremely pleased to recognize Bill Arsenault from Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2) with a Lifetime Achievement Award.” He continued by saying “TrueNorth and MC2 have significant accomplishments together and this is due, in no small part, to Bill’s sustained relationship with us. We celebrated ten years in business this year, and continue striving to make connectivity more effective for business aviation. I’m pleased that Bill and his team have been an active part in this pursuit.”

Over the last ten years, MC2 and TrueNorth have developed a strong and open business relationship, resulting in a number of firsts. The MC2 team was first to install and certify both the Simphonē Chorus and Optelity Pro cabin communications systems. The company also certified the Simphonē FANS-1/A+ Data Link Unit (DLU) on a Falcon 50, Airbus A310, and most recently on a Challenger 604. The DLU is TrueNorth’s hugely successful—and the only FAA, CAN and EASA TSO’d C159a for FANS over Iridium—flight deck communications system.

According to Arsenault - “We were one of the first companies to install TrueNorth Simphonē equipment and in all the years of dealing with them, our collective focus has never wavered. TrueNorth doesn’t just pay lip service to this philosophy - they act on it. We believe in their products and we continue to work together to explore new ideas as they grow. I am deeply honored to accept this award. It is refreshing to have a relationship with an OEM like TrueNorth who shares our long term values and shares in the success.”
