Beginning June 8, Delta Air Lines will offer a second daily non-stop flight between Richmond International Airport (RIC) and the airline’s Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) hub. The twice-daily flights will be operated by Delta Connection carrier ExpressJet Airlines on 69-seat CRJ-700 aircraft, which features First Class and Economy seating.
“I applaud the leadership of Delta Air Lines, recognizing the growth in demand across the Richmond region,” said Jon E. Mathiasen, AAE, president and CEO of the Capital Region Airport Commission. “Minneapolis/St. Paul is a popular destination for Richmond travelers and an excellent connecting facility for points beyond the hub.”
