East Alton, IL, November 1, 2016 - West Star Aviation is pleased to announce that Steve Goede has been named Director of Landing Gear and Accessory Programs.
Steve started his career in aviation 13 years ago working part-time for Comair Delta Connection while he attended the University of Iowa majoring in Business Marketing and International Business.
He started with West Star Aviation nine years ago as Manager of Accessory Parts Sales (GJT). Steve's responsibilities included building strong relationships with OEMs, providing continued support of landing gear accessory shops at West Star full-service locations GJT, ALN and CHA, and continued growth of the accessories and parts department adding new capabilities.
"Steve has been with West Star Aviation for nine years and he has been a strong force developing the growth in the Landing Gear & Accessory shop for the company. As Director, Steve will continue to maintain strong relationships with OEMs as well as leading the Landing Gear and Accessory team. He will oversee any expansion in these departments and maintain and oversee these departments throughout the West Star network, including our recent agreement with Embraer to overhaul Phenom 100 and 300," said Rodger Renaud, President and Chief Operating Officer, West Star Aviation.
