“Keep ‘em Flying” Run at Falcon Field Postponed Until Spring 2017

The first “Hops & Props” Georgia Beer Fest at 5 p.m. Nov, 5, sponsored by the Peachtree City Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, will continue as planned.

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (Oct. 17, 2016) –The Commemorative Air Force Dixie Wing and Atlanta Regional Airport (Falcon Field) in Peachtree City, Ga., have postponed the November 5 “Keep ‘em Flying” 10k/5k run and one-mile fun run-walk until next spring. The first “Hops & Props” Georgia Beer Fest at 5 p.m. Nov, 5, sponsored by the Peachtree City Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, will continue as planned.

The Dixie Wing, based in Peachtree City, Ga., was approved as the 83rd CAF unit on Feb.28, 1987, and has since displayed its collection of vintage World War II aircraft in numerous air shows throughout the United States.
