WY: Casper Installs WYDOT Critical Travel Condition Monitors

Oct. 14, 2016

Casper/Natrona County International Airport announced that it has installed two WYDOT Critical Travel Condition Monitors in the terminal building by the main exit doors. Travel conditions on selected roads and highways that are used to travel to and from the Airport rotate through the displays.

“The WYDOT Critical Travel Condition system is a great way of getting up-to-date road conditions in the State,” said Glenn Januska, airport director. “Not everyone, however, is aware of the system, particularly visitors to Wyoming and getting/using the information on mobile media may not be as easy if you are traveling with children, luggage, etc. As we continue to draw passengers from a larger geographic ‘catchment area’, the more this information is helpful to our customers.”

Travelers may always dial 511 on their phones to get updated road condition information.
