Oct. 12, 2016

ST. LOUIS / Oct. 12, 2016 – Jet Aviation St. Louis is pleased to announce the appointment of two new regional sales reps: Shannon Adams for the Western Region of the U.S. and Canada, and Mike Meglio for the Mid-Atlantic Region in the U.S.

"We’re excited to welcome Shannon and Mike to our team as sales reps with impressive experience in aviation,” said Sales Director Aaron Kreissler. “Shannon knows aviation and aircraft from the ground up as an A&P technician also experienced in avionics and cabin management systems, a maintenance manager, a certified aircraft inspector, a pilot, and an aircraft owner. Mike has been a valued team member at St. Louis for more than eight years with a strong background as a technical sales rep for more than two years and, before that, as an A&P technician and a lead finisher.

“We’re eager to introduce Shannon and Mike to customers so they can provide them with the kind of expert assistance and guidance they can always expect when coming to Jet Aviation St. Louis for MRO or any other aviation services,” Aaron said.

Adams will be responsible for the states of California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska, as well as the western Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

He began his 25-year career as an aviation electrician in the U.S. Air Force in 1989 and served overseas. He has since worked for a number of aviation service providers as a lead technician and operations manager on airframes such as Bombardier, Gulfstream and Boeing and on business, military and general aviation aircraft. He spent seven years as a director of maintenance for Shotgun Ranch Aviation LLC with experience in aircraft sales and purchasing before joining Jet Aviation St. Louis this month.

Meglio will be responsible for the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky.

After working as a regional sale manager for a manufacturer’s representative firm in St. Louis for three years, Meglio joined Jet Aviation St. Louis in 2008 and worked as a technician before moving to technical sales in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Missouri, and an associate’s degree in applied science and aviation-technology maintenance from Southwestern Illinois College.
