Tulsair Beechcraft: Supporting Aviators for More than 75 Years

Oct. 5, 2016

Tulsair Beechcraft (Tulsair) is a family-owned and operated Phillips 66 Aviation branded FBO that proudly operates in the heart of the South, servicing Tulsa International Airport (KTUL) in Oklahoma and Millington Regional Jetport (KNQA) in Tennessee. And without a doubt it’s the heart, passion and hard work that have sustained this business for the past 71 years, providing aviation customers with a rich tradition in aircraft sales and service.

Tulsair has proudly been selling Phillips 66 fuel since 1947 making it the second oldest branded FBO out of the 850-plus network. Tom Clark, Tulsair’s owner, has worked closely with Phillips 66 over the years, especially because the FBO’s Tulsa headquarters are in close proximity to Phillip 66’s offices located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

"I believe the relationships we have developed over the years with Phillips 66 will continue to help Tulsair be successful," said Clark. "We also take advantage of the FBO offerings, including WingPoints® Rewards and Partners-Into-Plane contract fuel, as the programs offered by Phillips 66 do help encourage and promote business at our facility."

Visitors to Tulsair’s headquarters at KTUL can appreciate its historic hangar that was built during the Works Progress Administration under President Roosevelt in 1933. The stone structure has character, possessing many interesting characteristics and true charm. What isn’t old is Tulsair’s ramp, which recently underwent major reconstruction in the spring.

A Legacy of Quality Services and Offerings

Since 1945, Tulsair has provided authentic Beechcraft parts to maintenance and repair facilities. All of Tulsair’s maintenance technicians have earned an A&P or an I/A license and have been expertly trained by Flight Safety, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Beechcraft and Bombardier.

In addition to maintenance and repair work, the FBO also offers a complete line of aircraft support services which includes fuel and line service, heavy airframe and engine maintenance; advanced avionics installation and repair; executive terminal facilities; aircraft storage; jet and turboprop charter; aircraft sales; aircraft leasing and management; and Beechcraft parts sales on a worldwide basis.

While the future can be unpredictable, as it tends to be, what is predicable is the level of service customers can expect when they touch down at Tulsair.

"Regardless of size of plane, from a very large aircraft to a small aircraft, customers will receive the same quality, friendly service every time," said Clark.
