HMSHost appointed Jeff Yablun executive vice president and chief operating officer, responsible for overseeing the company’s food and beverage operations in North America. In addition, He will also continue to oversee the company’s culinary, marketing, and supply chain teams.
“Jeff has been a part of the HMSHost team for more than 35 years and has an unparalleled understanding of our business,” said HMSHost President and CEO Steve Johnson. “Spending most of his time in operations, I am extremely confident that he has the background and expertise to continue ensuring we remain the industry leader in delivering award-winning food and beverage service to travelers.”
Yablun joined Host International Inc. in 1979, and prior to becoming COO, held a variety of executive and managerial positions including chief commercial officer, senior vice president, south region operations, vice president of operations, among others. Prior to his career with HMSHost, he was with PepsiCo’s restaurant group.
Yablun succeeds Silvano Delnegro, who has returned to HMSHost’s parent company Autogrill to lead a very important initiative.
