Avflight Adds FBO at Monroe Regional Airport

Sept. 21, 2016

Avflight Corp. expanded its chain of FBOs by transitioning the sole operation on the field of Monroe Regional Airport — JPS Aviation — to Avflight Monroe on Sept. 15. This brings the chain’s total to 16 full-service FBOs across North America and Europe.

“Avflight’s acquisition of JPS Aviation is key for our representation in the southern states of the U.S.,” said Carl Muhs, Avflight president. “The FBO at KMLU has a long-standing tradition of trusted, reliable service—a trust Avflight aims to build upon by providing the expansive resources of a network backed by the experience of more than 20 years in the aviation handling business.”

As experts in acquisition management, Avflight has ensured the transition from JPS to Avflight Monroe will remain seamless for the FBO’s loyal customers, transient traffic and existing staff.

“Joining Avflight’s operation is a grand opportunity for our FBO and the airport,” said John Mullen, FBO general manager. “We’ve always delivered a high-standard of service, but the level of support and branding recognition Avflight provides will help us thrive in an evolving market for many years to come. We’re proud to raise the Avflight logo and excited about the possibilities of this acquisition.”
