Aug. 29, 2016

Global airline quality ratings website SKYTRAX scored EVA Air as the world's third Most Loved Airline. SKYTRAX invited travelers to rate overall flight experiences among more than 420 carriers worldwide and ranked the Most Loved Airlines on an aggregate of those passenger scores. Travelers can learn more about EVA and the quality service that sets it apart or book flights at www.evaair.com.

Of the World's Top-10 Most Loved Airlines, eight are Asia-based. All 80 of the airlines on SKYTRAX's Most Loved list received a minimum of 225 reviews and traveler scores. Using a scale of one-to-10, travelers rated their flights in eight categories, including seat comfort, onboard services, food and beverages, inflight entertainment, onboard Wi-Fi, airport services and value for the money spent. Garuda Indonesia is number one based on an 85% satisfaction score, Asiana Airlines second with 83% and EVA third at 81%.

Quality service with emphasis on passenger comfort is an EVA priority. It makes consideration, interaction and mindfulness key to frontline delivery on the ground and in the air. SKYTRAX elevated EVA to the elite ranks of the world's 5-Star Airlines earlier this summer. The quality-focused website began rating EVA in 2008, immediately awarding it four stars and recognizing the airline's high product standards and staff services across different cabin classes inflight and at the airline's main hub, Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei. SKYTRAX also ranked EVA number one for Best Airline Cabin Cleanliness in 2015, Best Trans-Pacific Airline and Best Business Class Comforts and Amenities for 2016, and one of the World's Top-10 Best Airlines for 2015 and 2016.

AirlineRatings.com recognized it as a carrier of choice among the World's Top-10 Airlines for 2015 and 2016 and rated its Elite and Economy Classes in the world's top-10 "best for economy plus and economy class travel for 2015." Travel + Leisure readers ranked it among the World's Best Top 10 International Airlines in 2012 and 2016.
