LATAM to Fly Seasonal Orlando-Santiago Service

LATAM Airlines Group (LATAM) on Aug. 25, announced that it will operate a seasonal service between Orlando and Santiago, Chile, with up to two weekly non-stop flights from Jan. 4, to March 1.  

“Santiago is one of Latin America’s most modern and vibrant cities, offering something for everyone – whether it’s food and wine, history and culture or skiing and hiking.  It’s also the gateway to Chile’s awe-inspiring landscapes and attractions, which include the world’s highest and driest desert, the remotest island on earth and the eighth wonder of the world, Torres del Paine – all of which are served by LATAM Airlines Group,” said Pablo Chiozza, VP of North America and the Caribbean, LATAM Airlines Group.

The non-stop service will be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft with Economy, Premium Economy and Premium Business cabins, where all seats feature individual seat-back screens with a wide-range of films, series and music.  Premium Business customers are offered the additional comfort of 180-degree lie-flat seats.

On Jan. 4, flight LA511 will depart Orlando at 10:15 (local time) on Wednesday and Thursday, arriving in Santiago at 20:55 the same day (local time).  The return flight (LA510) will depart Santiago at 00:30 (local time) on Wednesday and Thursday, arriving in Orlando (Orlando International Airport) at 07:20 (local time) the same day.  The final week of operations, only one service will operate March 1.
