Frontier Adds Nonstop Seasonal Flights From MKE to Phoenix

Frontier Airlines will launch new seasonal nonstop service from Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport beginning December 7, 2016.

MILWAUKEE (August 2016) – Frontier Airlines will launch new seasonal nonstop service from Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport beginning December 7, 2016.

“Frontier’s new service to Phoenix gives travelers from Wisconsin and northern Illinois another option for their leisure and business travel needs to Arizona,” County Executive Chris Abele said. “Frontier’s growing network from MKE is welcome news, and we encourage our travelers to take advantage of the great low fares and nonstop service Frontier provides.”

Introductory sale fares on the route start at just $69, and are only available online at www.flyfrontier.com. The new service will be operated with full-size Airbus A319 aircraft, featuring both standard and stretch seating.

The new flights, which will operate Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, will depart Milwaukee at 12:35 p.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 3:40 p.m. The return flights will leave Phoenix at 7:20 a.m. and arrive in Milwaukee at 11:42 a.m.

“Milwaukee travelers will have another great option when looking for warm weather getaways during the cold weather months” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president – commercial. “We’re excited to offer travelers non-stop service to this great vacation spot.”

Frontier already offers daily nonstops from Milwaukee to Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Orlando and Philadelphia.

Mitchell Airport offers nonstop flights to 37 destinations coast-to-coast, and 160 international destinations are available from Milwaukee with just one connection. MKE is also served by Air Canada, Alaska, American, Delta, OneJet, Southwest and United.
